Nestled into a little neighborhood in Seattle, this 1902 Madrona home boasted 180 degree views of Lake Washington. Fortunately for us, the previous owners had decided to use it as a warehouse for their plumbing business. This meant we had the opportunity to start from scratch and reimagine what a home in this gorgeous neighborhood would look like. As always, we take the occupants of the home into consideration with each decision. The family that purchased this home was young + growing. With two energetic little ones, there needed to be outside play space as well as a comfortable bedroom to hear good-night stories. The husband wanted a thoughtful and moody media room and the wife was dreaming of a kitchen to make magic baked goods from scratch. Having the space wasn’t an issue, with three floors AND a daylight basement, there was plenty of room to make dreams come true.
